What is Discord Server?

A community space on Discord organized into text and voice channels. Most streamers use Discord servers as their primary off-stream community hub.

Discord servers are the backbone of streamer community management. A typical streamer Discord includes channels for announcements, go-live notifications, general chat, game discussion, and voice hangouts.

For networking, joining other streamers' Discord servers is one of the most effective ways to build relationships between streams. Being active in 3-5 relevant servers creates consistent touchpoints with potential collaborators.
