What is Raid Command?

The Twitch chat command /raid [username] used by broadcasters to send their viewers to another channel at the end of a stream.

To raid another streamer, type /raid [username] in your chat. A 10-second countdown appears, and once it completes, all viewers in your channel are redirected to the target channel. You can cancel a raid during the countdown by typing /unraid.

Only the broadcaster and editors can initiate raids. Moderators cannot raid on your behalf unless they have editor permissions.

For best results, announce your raid target in chat before initiating so your viewers know where they're going and can participate actively in the target's chat. Learn more in our complete raiding guide.
