What is Raid Cooldown?
The mandatory waiting period between raids on Twitch, currently 2 minutes, preventing rapid successive raids.
After initiating a raid with the /raid command, Twitch enforces a cooldown period before you can raid again. This prevents abuse and gives the target channel time to acknowledge incoming viewers.
The cooldown applies per channel — you cannot cancel and re-raid a different target instantly. Plan your raid target before your stream ends so you're not scrambling during the cooldown. The Raid Finder helps you identify targets in advance so you're ready when your stream wraps up.
