What is Whisper?
A private message sent between Twitch users. Whispers appear in a separate chat interface and are not visible to other viewers.
Whispers are Twitch's private messaging system. They let you communicate with other users without the message appearing in any channel's public chat. Whispers work across the entire platform — you don't need to be in the same channel.
For networking, whispers can be useful for quick private messages, but Discord is generally preferred for longer conversations and relationship building. Be mindful that unsolicited whispers from strangers can feel intrusive.
