What it checks
Sixteen checks in three sets, each scored out of 100.
- Set up your channel. Your picture, bio, links, tags, offline banner, language, schedule and panels. The settings that decide how your stream is shown in browse, in search and in recommendations.
- Build Community. Whether you have found streamers your own size, know anything about them, and have shown up where they are. The part no algorithm does for you.
- Activate Growth. Raids, a tracked link, a schedule you keep, and highlights that outlive the stream.
What makes it different
Most channel checklists tell you to "optimize your profile" and stop. Every check here explains the mechanism behind it, states the standard as a number, and links straight to the Twitch setting that changes it.
It also scores actions, never outcomes. Follower count, viewer count and watch hours are not part of the score, because they are results rather than things you can do this afternoon.
Who it's for
Twitch streamers who suspect something about their channel is working against them but cannot tell what. It is most useful below a few hundred followers, where the setup problems are common and the fixes are quick.
How to use it
Sign in with Twitch and run the check. It reads your public channel settings and your activity in Streamer Growth Network, then scores the three sets. Work through the failures, run it again, and the score moves.
Channel Check is available to signed-in streamers and only ever scores your own channel.
