What is Twitch Raid?
A built-in Twitch feature that sends all of a streamer's viewers to another channel when they end their stream. Initiated with the /raid command.
A Twitch raid is one of the most powerful community-building tools on the platform. When you type /raid [username] in your chat, a 10-second countdown begins. After the countdown, all viewers in your channel are automatically redirected to the target streamer's channel.
Raids are different from the deprecated host feature — raids actively move your audience rather than just displaying another stream. They create real interactions between communities and are the foundation of many streamer networking relationships.
